What does wetpantsboy use cookies for?

wetpantsboy uses cookies to store login information. This way, users are automatically logged in when they next visit the site.

What happens when I log out?

If you were logged in with cookies, when you log out the information stored in the cookie is destroyed. Furthermore, all cookies expire after 30 days, whether you have logged out or not

Are cookies safe?

Yes, cookies are simply small data files. They are not viruses or programmes and simply make the process of navigating and using sites easier. What if I am using a public computer?

If you are logging on to wetpantsboy from a public PC and do not want wetpantsboy to keep you logged in on the current PC you are using, simply untick the box 'Keep me logged in on this computer unless I log out'. If you untick this box, you will be logged in via a temporary session based logon and no cookie will be created on the computer. If you forget to untick the box on a public PC or for further piece of mind, click log out in the top right of the screen before you navigate away from wetpantsboy.

How do I disable the use of cookies by wetpantsboy?

If you do not wish for wetpantsboy to use cookies ever when logging you in, simply visit the Your Account page and click on 'Change the way you log on'.

How can I make sure no cookies are used at all by any site?

Scroll down to the sixth option to see how cookies are handled by IE5 and change to Accept, Disable, or Prompt for action as appropriate.
